MOTORING ACCIDENT.

GREYMOUTH, July 29
A car containing West Coast footballers returning from the Nelson Shield match met with a mishap yesterday near Reefton. The car skidded over the bank of the river and was oaught in some trees. It overturned and the occupants were pinned underneath for several minutes. The petrol tank burst, but the petrol did not ignite. Mr Alan Adams, president of the New Zealand Rugby Union, sustained a fractured hand. Nobody else wrns injured.
