RUGBY FOOTBALL.

COMPETITION MATCHES. Owing to the postponement of 'the in-ter-club competitions last week-end, due to the indifferent state of the grounds, the games set down for decision last Saturday will eventuate to-morrow. The interval has brought with it an improvement in the state of the grounds, but there is every probability that they will be still on the heavy side. Kia Toa and Athletic will furnish the main attraction in Palmerston North and without doubt the former will set out with the fixed determination to wipe out their defeat in the opening round. As the curtain-raiser to the senior clash, High School and Kia Toa A will try conclusions and an excellent game is promised. At Feilding, Feilding Old Boys and Palmerston North Old Boys will battle for tho honours and a repetition of the play in their earlier meeting would be • worth going a long way to see. Woodville enthusiasts will be furnished with the opportunity of witnessing their representatives in action against Feilding and it would not be altogether a surprise to find the blue and blacks giving the visitors a strong run for the honours. GROUNDS ALTERED. Owing to No. 1 ground at the High School being still unfit for play, tho junior game, Old Boys v. Massey College B, which had been set down for 1.15 p.rn., and tho Feilding v.
