SALE OF WORK AND JUMBLE SALE.
An interesting event in the town to-mor-row will bo the Sale of Work and Jumble Sale arranged by the Ladies’ Guild of the St. Paul’s Methodist Church. The sale •will take place in the schoolroom at the rear of the church, Broadway Avenue; cakes, sweets, fancy work, produce, meats, etc., will be displayed, and in addition there will be a used clothing jumble stall. Afternoon tea will be provided. The evening session will provide plenty of humour as the whole of the left-over goods will be sold by auction regardless of value. The proceeds are for the new Sunday School Fund.
