RECORDS AT ASHBURTON. Per Press Association. ASHBURTON. Feb; 10. By covering the distance in the Ashburton County Handicap on Saturday in 4min 20 l-ssecs., Mr IT. F. Nicoil’s Wrackler established a new Australian and New Zealand record for a three-year-old in a two mile race. In the Sapling Stakes each of the placed horses bettered the previous Australian and New Zealand record of 3min 20 4-ssec held by Wrackler.
