SENTENCE ON TAMASESE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 3. “Tamasese will be released to-nior-row—that is the end of it,” said the Prime Minister (Sir Joseph Ward), when his attention was directed to tho fact that the sentence of six months’ imprisonment imposed on, the Samoan chief on December 5 would expire tomorrow. There had been a suggestion that tho chief would be kept in custody until the sailing of the Tofua on June 15. but the Prime Minister’s replv disposes of that possibility.
