NEW ZEALAND TROTTING BOARD
Per Press Association. • CHRISTCHURCH, June 3. A meeting cf the New Zealand Trotting Board decided to ask the West Trotting Association what practice it adopted to ensure the identity of horse? reported to be dead. This action followed on the receipt of a letter advising the registration of the horses Bingen Lad aim Panto which had been sent from New Zealand. Panto had died shortly after arrival. The hoard agreed that, when a race w 33 called a cup race, a cup must be presente r to the winner, otherwise the race would be designated a handicap.
