BAY OF WHALES.
LIFE AT BYRD CAMP. (By Russell Owen, copyright .1928 by the New York Times Company and the St. Louis Post Dispatch; all rights for publication reserved throughout the world. Wireless to the New York Times.) Received May 28, 11.5 a.m. BAY OF WHALES. May 26. There has been a full week of dull weather, wiik a comparatively mild temperature. Indeed, last night it was five degrees above zero. It was a surprising rise, as the wind was not unusually strong. No matter how moody and repellent the frozen world may be outside, it is warm and cheery in the houses. The days go very rapidly. In less 'than a month we can look ahead to the return of the sun. ,
