I have been a member of the Local Unemployment committee associated with His Worship the Mayor (Mr A. J. Graham) and Mr P. T. Robinson since the formation of the committee. If elected, I will certainly attempt to have the minimum electric light charge of 4s 6d reduced to at least 2s 6d, and assist in all measures that will lead to each £1 of the ratepayers’ money doing 20s worth of work.
