DURING the damp winter months if you don’t take the necessary precautions you will often find that instead of getting the snaps you so particularly desired, your films will be all black, or in other words fogged. The reason is the damp has caused the shutter of your camera to stick. The remedy is to keep your camera in a warm, dry place, and before loading- up with a film work the shutter a few times to make certain it is not sticking. If it is sticking take off back put on the rack, but not too close to the fire. Of course sand or grit will cause the same trouble and in that case bring your camera to us.
