SLUGGISH RIVER BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Sluggish River Board was held this morning, Mr Foster presiding. It was decided that the chairman should proceed to Wellington to endeavour to induce the Local Bodies’ Loans Board to forego the costly requirements concerning levels in connection with the £2OOO loan proposal.
