HOKOWHITU SCHOOL.
NOMINATIONS FOR COMMITTEE. Only nine nominations have been received tor the Hokowhitu School Committee and as this is the requisite number no election will be necessary. Those nominated are Messrs G. D. Pattle, G. L. Lane, E. D. Wycherley, W. C. Dudley, C. D. Hepburn, Weston J. Smith, T. J. Smith, F. Robbie and C. H. Amos. , , , Mr J. T. J. Heatley, who has been chairman of the committee for the last two years, is not seeking re-election, while Mr W. S. Woodroofe, a former chairman and a member of the Wanganui Eduaction Board has also not accepted nomination.
