Received April 2, 11.50 a.m. RUGBY, April 1. During the week-end the King continued to take walking exercise in the grounds of Graigweil House. This morning he again listened to a band, which came over from Bognor to play for him, and during the programme he delighted the large crowd of holidaymakers who had assembled on the beach by walking to the edge of the Craigweil House seawall and greeting them. ' Someone cried: “Get well, sir! His Majesty replied: “Thank you, I am doing so,” and expressed the hope that they had enjoyed the music.
