PIGEON FLYING.
The Manawatu Homing Pigeon Club held a raeft from Taumarunui at the week-end, the weather being anything but favourable for fast velocity. The results aee as follows: —J. Danks’s results are as follow: —J. Danks’s Mouldey’s Limbo, 987.8yds per sec. 2; P. Wills Diana, 977.876yds per sec. 3; F. Murphy’s Hollo, 964.73yds per sec. 4; T. Inkpen’s Inky, 951.1yds per sec. 5. Messrs AValshaw, Hart, AVatson, Smytlie, Ramsay, White, Grover, Archer and Kinimont also competed.
