SECTION PLAY ENDS. THIRTEEN RINKS QUALIFY. Section play in the Alanawatu Centre’s Easter bowling tournament was finished yesterday afternoon with the completion of the ninth round. The feature of the games was tho fnct that no rink survived section play without suffering at least two losses, and there was always an element of uncertainty as to who would qualify for post-section play. H Last evening, when play in the rounds the only rinks to come through with seven wins each were those skipped by W. Crump (P.N.). G. AVardrop (Wooclville), and C. Pickering (P.N.) in A section, and N. H. Nash (P.N.) and C. Norwood (Victoria) in C section, while in B section the highest total of any rink was six wins, indicating how even the competition was.
