AFGHAN UNREST.
CLAIMANTS TO THE THRONE. AMANULLAH MARCHING ON CAPITAL. (Australian Press Association). DELHI, March 31. Ex-King Amanullah is marching on Kabul, the capital, with 30,000 troopg, armed with Russian rifles and ammunition. Considerable fighting is pro. ceeding between the rival forces. The rebel King is preparing to de, fend the capital. His forces are steadily decreasing. Another claimant to the throne is Prince Omar Khan, a member of the Afghan Royal Family, who escaped from detention at Allahabad recently. MUTINY AT HERAT. (United Service). CALCUTTA, March 30. Mutinous troops at Herat assassinated the Governor, who was unpopular, the Governor’s nephew, and a colonel who went to their rescue. The Governor was planning to put the nephew, who was a supporter of Amanullah, in' his Elace. Foreigners' and Indians have een ordered to leave Herat.
