WAR-TIME MEMORIES.
BURSTING OF BURIED SHELLS. FIRE IN ARGONNE FOREST. (Australian Press Association.) Received April 1, 9.40 .a.m. PARIS, March 30. „ War-time memories were revived today a* the Forest of Argonne. During the course of a bush fire hundreds of shells and cartridges that have been buried in the undergrowth for ten years exploded. The air all day resounded with shell bursts. The presence of troops fighting the ilames heightened the suggestion of battle.
