GENERAL SARRAIL.
FUNERAL WITHOUT POMP. (Australian Press Association). PARIS, March 28. In contrast with the interment of the late Marshal Foch on Tuesday, the burial of the remains of General Sarrail at the ■ Invalides to-day was simple and without pomp. M. Painleve, in a stirring oration, praised General Sarrail’s stand before Verdun in 1914, also his bloodless liberation of Greece from the domination of Constantine.
