THE LATE “WOODBINE WILLIE.” PROVISION FOR FAMILY. (Australian Press Association). LONDON, March 27. Dr. Randall Davidson, the ex-Pri-mate, the Archbishop of York, and the Bishop of London are heading a movement to raise £7OOO to provide for the widow and three sons of the late Rev. Studdart Kennedy, who, as a result, of the war, became' popularly known as “Woodbine Willie.’ The widow and three sons have been left inadequately provided for. The late Mr Kennedy earned big sums through his writings, but practically all was immediately earmarked for charities. His only savings were hrs life insurance policy for £3OOO.
