AMERICAN GOVERNOR.
CHARGES PREFERRED. (Australian Press Association.) Received March 28, 12.5 p.m. NEW YORK, March 27. Nineteen charges against Mr H. Long, aged 34, the Governor of Louisiana, were filed to-day in the Low r er House of the State Legislature. Among the charges were attempts to “hire and induce murder, malfeasance in office, and habitual drunkenness.”
