AFGHAN WAR
REVIVAL SHORTLY. SUPPORT FOR AMANULLAH. EX-KING MARCHING ON CAPITAL (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Times Cables). LONDON, March 11. The Times’s correspondent at Lahore states that Amanullah is marching upon Kabul, the capital, where the Ameer is strengthening his defences and enlisting fresh troops. _ Civil war is expected to break out in a few weeks. All the Kandahar region is supporting Amanullah and many prominent chiefs have already rallied to his standard.
The former Governor of Jalalabad has just arrived at Peshawar. He declares that the tribesmen of Eastern Afghanistan are tired of the present chaos and are ready to support Amanullah if given an amnesty. General Nadir Khan, who was expected to win over a large part. of Afghanistan in favour of Amanullah, is reported to have been arrested and his propertly looted.
