TABLOID FOOD. OPINION OF PROFESSOR. (Australian Press Association). ' LONDON, Feb. 28. During the course of a lecture today, Professor A. M. Low expressed to tiie Institute of Patentees the opinion that man in future would not eat regular meata, but would take tabloids and undergo ray treatment during sleep. Children would be brought up from birth to fit them for their careers and would be subjected to various rays, injected with serum and fed on tablets, in accordance with the profession or trade for which they were intended. Crime would be regarded as a disease, and would be curable by surgical oper--ot\Vhiie we were accustomed to scoff at the ancients who sought the Philosopher’s Stone and the Ehxir of Life modern scientists realised that hot the transmutation of metals and th prolongation of life were within tile bounds of possibility.
