NEW DOMINION RECORD. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 4. At the amateur athletic meeting on Saturday evening, Miss E. Martyn, won the 100 yards event in 11 2-5 seconds, beating the New Zealand lady champion, and Miss fifth of a second. Following the success of Miss M. Barron (Foxton) at the Manawatu Amateur Athletic Club’s sports meeting on Saturday, efforts are now being made for a meeting between Miss E. Martyn (Christchurch) the present Now Zealand lady champion and Miss Barron whose time on Saturday was 11 4-o.
