SWIMMING SPORTS.PENAIAN SENIOR CHAAIPION. A marked improvement over last year was , noted at the Boys’ High School swimming sports which were held at the school baths yesterday afternoon. The learners’ and junior sections showed enthusiasm and careful instruction, while the competitors in the senior events fully maintained the standard set by previous scholars. The school is to be congratulated upon the interest taken in the. art and upon the success it has made in advancing it. Penman won the senior champion, ship this year with nine points, Riddell being runner-up with six .points. Neilson, with seven points, takes the junior championship, Apatari being next with six points.
