CHRISTIAN CONVENTION.
> NGARUAAVAHIA EASTER CAMPS. , q£ recent, years there has grown up at Jfgaruawahia a convention of Christians of various denominations for instruction along evangelical, missionary and spiritual lines. It has steadilv increased in numbers until as niany as 526 wore enrolled last year. I lie gathering this Easter will be in the ninth annual convention. Men will encamp on the Regatta Club’s grounds at the junction of the AVaikato and AVaipa Rivers. I lie ladies have acquired a property of their own on the banks of the Waikato River and have had a building erected to accommodate nearly 100 campers. Many men and . women arc now on the mission iicld as the result of the ministry of God’s word at this convention and many more are in training at the New Zealand Bible training Institute. The convention is interdenominational and works in co-operation with all the Pnotestant churches. The speakers will be Air William Mallis, director of the South Seas Evangelical Alission; Air G. J. Rolls, dean of the N.Z. Bible Training Institute, Auckland, and Miss Jennie Street, field secretary in Clrrat, Britain of the National Christian Endeavour Union.
