CHARGE OF THEFT.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 1. A member of tlie Wellington Fire Brigade, James William Stewart, aged 25, who arrived with his wife to spend a holiday in Auckland, was charged at the Police Court with ihe theft of a gold and diamond ring and camera of a total value of £lO, the property of some person un-j known, the police allegin'' that the property had been stolen by the accused from fires ho lxad attended. Accused was remanded on bail to Wei- j lington. 1
