SNOW-BOUND VILLAGE.
NUMBER STARVE TO DEATH. (Australian Press Association.) Received March 2, 11.45 a.m. BELGRADE, March 1. Rescuers penetrated the village of Zavay, near Karlovac, which has been snowbound for a month, and found that 25 villagers had starved to death. The remainder were in the last stages of exhaustion.
