KABUL LEGATION.
(Australian Press Association—JJnited Service.) LONDON, Feb. 21. In the House of Commons, to-day, Mr G. Locker Lampson, in.answer to a question stated that though the British mission had been withdrawn from Kabul, Peshawur would not be Used as a temporary legation. FRENCH GOVERNMENT’S THANKS. RUGBY, March 1. The French' Ambassador in London yesterday ' called at the Foreign Office to express the sincere thanks of his Government for the evacuation of the French mission and its nationals from Kabul to Peshawar by the Royal Air forcfe machines.
