FAMOUS EXPLORER.
SIR HUBERT WILKINS. PLANS FOR COMING SUMMER. (Australian Press Association). NEW YORK, Feb. 28. A message from Lima, Peru, states that Sir Hubert Wilkins, the famous Australian explorer, passed through here to-day, en route for New York. Sir Hubert Wilkins indicated that he had made plans for a voyage to the Arctic this summer, or possibly he would make a North Polar trip with the Graf Zeppelin before returning to the Antarctic in September. Sir Hubert also intimated that he had planned the establishment of meteorological stations on the Sonth Polar continent.
