LONDON, Feb. 27. - Mr Churchill has revealed that the Free State in the first place demanded that Britain take over at face value the British silver coinage, which is estimated at from £1,500,000 to £3,000,000. Mr Churchill naturally demurred, owing to the cost to the British l.ixpayer. The Free State pointed out that Britain had assisted South Africa and Australia by repatriating the coinage at face value.
