ORDER OBTAINED.

DELEGATION OF POWERS. ELECTRICAL APPRENTICES’ COMMITTEE. An application for the delegation to the Palmerston North District Electrical Apprentices’ Committee of the powers defined in the apprenticeship order was made by the secretary, Mr J. It was stated by Mr Lowden, Registrar of Apprentices, that at a meeting of the Electrical Apprenticeship Committee it was unanimously decided to make application to the Court under Section 6 of the Act to have the powers conferred upon the committee, as set out in the sub-clause containing the text of the agreement between the Palmerston North Industrial District Electrical Contractors’ Association and the Wellington Electrical Workers’ Industrial Union of Workers. It was considered that better supervision could bo exercised locally. The names of the members of the committee were submitted as follows: —Messrs Chas. Hubbard, Ebenezer E. P. Wix, AVilliam George Ritchie, Clarence C. Aitken, Sydney John King, and John Blake Williamson. The C#urt granted the order sought.
