MANAWATU TOURNAMENT. Play in the annual tournament of the Manawatu Croquet Association was continued to-day. Results up to one p.m. were as follow: B. CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES. First round. —Mrs May beat Mrs Sigley, 26 —10; Mrs Glendinnmg beat Mrs Torstonson, 26 —11HANDICAP SINGLES. A. Grade. First round.—Mrs Spring (4) beat MANAWATU CHAMPION SINGLE^ First round. —Mrs Spring beat Mrs Lynch, 26 —18. CLUB PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP. First round.—Mesd&mas Campbell and Gambrill beat Mesdames Mayes «.nd Garner, 26 —19.
