(the contractors for the Sydney Harbour Bridge) who was in Australia a few years ago, lias confided that his ono ambition is to live to be ninety, “because I promised to go to Sydney in 1933 to open the harbour bridge.” Sir Hugh Bell is now 85 years old ■ and is still actively engaged in business. He is a wealthy ironmaster and colliery owner, and a director of many big companies.
