ST. PAUL'S CHURCH.

CALL TO REV. D. R. McDONALD. At a pro ro nata meeting of the Wanganui Presbytery, held in St. Andrew’s Hall, Palmerston North, a call from St. Paul’s Church, Feilding, in favour of Bev. D. Baeburn McDonald,' of Clevedon. was tabled. Bev. G. T. Brown, M.A., Moderator, detailed the step that had been taken to fill the vacancy resulting in the decision of St. Paul’s to extend a unanimous call to Mr McDonald.. The commissioners from Feilding, Rev. D. Martin and Mr S .D. Pearce, spoke in favour of the call, stressing the unanimity of the congregation and the undoubted suitability of Mr McDonald for the work. Mr Sorenson moved, and Mr J. J. Whitehead seconded, that the call be sustained and transmitted to the Auckland Presbytery. This was carried and it was decided to arrange the induction for Thursday, December 6, in Feilding at 7 p.m. Rev. G. T. Brown is to preside and induct. Rev. G. King is to preach, while Rev. J. H. Bredin is to address the minister and the congregation. Rev. D. C. Herron, M.A., M.C., of Auckland, was asked to prosecute the call before the Auckland Presbytery.
