SEAMEN’S UNION.

SUIT IN EQUITY COURT. SYDNEY, Oct. 29. Tom Walsh’s suit in the Equity Court for an injunction restraining Jacob Johnson from interfering in the performance of his duties as secretary of the Seamen’s Union of Australia, resulted in an order to that, effect being, made to-day. Mr Justico Long Innes declared that Walsh had been properly elected secretary, and directed that he be given possession of the books and documents, and warned any members who attempted to thwart the order of the court that they would be dealt with for contempt of court. Johnson is at present undergoing imprisonment.
