BRITISH ’PLANE.

FLIGHT TO BUCHAREST. (British Official Wireless.) Received September 7, 9.50 a.m. RUGBY, Sept. 6. Flight-Lieutenant Scliolefield left Brooklands at five o’clock this morning on an attempt to fly to Bucharest, a distance of over 1400 miles. He is flying a two-seater Vickers-Napier machine and hopes to reach Bucharest to-night. He will make two halts—at Nuremburg and at Belgrade. The purpose of tho flight is to demonstrate to the Roumanian Government the canabilities of the aeroplane, which is of all-British manufacture, in competition with macnines from Italy, France and other countries.
