LONDON FASHIONS.
BOYISH FIGURE ENDED. RETURN TO FEMININITY. (Australian Press Association).. LONDON, Sept. 5. Bond Street has practically dethroned the Rue de la Paix in Paris. London’s f ashion parade at Olympia to-day, revealing the season’s fashions, was aoejaimed the best ever. Beautiful mannequins paraded to the strains of soft music before buyers from all parts of tho world. The display definitely reveals that womanhood is about to drop the recent pose—that the frankness or tho hoyish figure is ended. Not -a single straight line, not a single plain skirt was seen. It is no longer necessary to nudge ono another ajid whisper: “Is that a man or a woman?” London decrees that woman is to become woman again, with all the old feathers, frills, and friperies.
