UNLUCKY TEST
MAJOR DEL PRETE’S MISFORTUNE.

Surgeons have decided to amputate both legs of Major Del Prete, the Italian trans-Atlantic aviator, who, with Captain Ferrarin, crashed on August 7 in a test flight that was being carried out here.
Captain Ferrarin’s ribs were fractured, and he also suffered internal injuries.
