MANAWATU RIVER.
SIX FEET IN FLOOD.
With the continued rain in the district, the Manawatu River has risen rapidly, and at noon to-day the gauge at the Fitzherbert Street bridge was showing the river to be six feet in flood. At 7 a.m. the reading was sft. 9ins.
