STOCK AIARKET,
AVright, Stevenson and Co., Ltd., Abraham and AVilliams, Ltd., report on the Johnsonville sale, held yesterday, as follows:—“Owing to.-the very 1-ougli weather, there was only a small attendance of butchers present. Sheep were of good quality, and met with a ready sale at prices showing a slight advance on last week’s rates. The bullocks offered were mixed. Good quality sorts sold readily at prices showing an advance on last week’s rates. Plain and unfinished bullocks met with a poor sale. Prices for ox beef at this sale are well below those ruling in the country. Tlie cows and heifers offered were mostly plain- and light, but met with a ready sale. ’ AYe quote:—Bullocks, £ll 10s, £l3 15s, £ls 17s 6d, £l6 10s, £l7 ss, to £l7 10s; heifers (light), £5 to'£6 10s;' heifers (medium), £7 17s 6d to £8 15s; cows, £9 2s 6d to 9 7s 6d; wethers, £2 0s Od, £2 Is, £2 ss, £2 6s 6d to £2 7s; ewes, 37s to 37s 3d.
