CASEY v. McDonald
There are now only two days left before Casej and McDonald meet at the Ojjera House, when the former’s Dominion middleweight title will be at 6take. Accordingly, interest is quickoncng in the contest, especially in Palmerston North, and the merits of both boxers are being fully expounded by their supporters. At Awapuni where Casey has been putting the finishing touches to his training, the Queenslander is reported to be in the pink of condition. A solid fighter with a great power for absorbing punishment, ho should be at his best on Wednesday night. McDonald arrives to-day with Purdy from Wellington where he has been training under the charge of Pat Connors. All the amateurs who are providing the preliminaries iaro reported to be fit and well.
