ALLEGED THEFT.
POSTAL CLERIC CHARGED
Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Aug. 6. A postal clerk at Mataura whoso name was suppressed was charged with tho theft of a packet containing postal notes for 18s. On the application of the police, who stated that probably two or three further charges would bo preferred, accused was remanded till Friday.
