FOUND DEAD IN CELL.
PRISONER ON REMAND. RAWENE, July 26. Warren Henry Cox, a man about 69 years of age, who was remanded in custody on a charge of having committed an indecent assault, was found dead in his cell at the police station. He was hanging from strips of his blankets, which had been torn up. Cox had been in New Zealand about thirty years. It is believed that he was a native of Canada and unmarried.
