RUSH TO EAR NORTH. TORONTO, July 20. Tho Hudson’s Ba ydistrict in Northern Canada is swarming with expeditions seeking new mining prospects, following the successful flotation of several properties that are being developed on a huge scale. Development expenses for ill© erection of smelters and opening up mines i-r North-Western Manitoba, already run to £40,000,000 or £50,000,000. Somo expeditions left St. John and Halifax by a steamer, which went around Labrador into Hudson’s Bay. Others are going overland with aeroplanes, taking provisions to last two years and supplies for gasoline depots.
