At tho wool sales 7871 bales were offered, of which 2686 wene Australian and 4227 New Zealand. There w.as a moderate selection of Merinos, chiefly choice spinners’ style, a large offering of slipes and a good supply of greasy crossbreds. All centres were operating freely. There was a good tone and prices were very firm. New Zealand clips: Omarinui, top price 22d, average 21d; Mount White, 24 4,22 d; WFM, 32*d.
