COLLEGE STREET SCHOOL.
At a meeting of the College Street School Committee last evening, held in conjunction with the ladies’ committee, the secretary, Mr C. S. Pees, reported that the recent school ball had realised the sum of £25 3s Bd. This sum is to bo applied towards the purchase of a piano. The Education Board supplies instruments at halfprice by way of a subsidy, and the sum raised should be sufficient to get a good piano. Votes of thanks were passed to all who had in any way assisted with the ball.
