HOSPITAL LAUNDRY.
IMMENSE AMOUNT OF WORK. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard. AUCKLAND, July 17. An indication of the enormous amount of work undertaken by the laundry at the Auckland Hospital was given by Mr W. Wallace at a meeting of tho board. Mr Wallace said that the number of pieces washed in June totalled 103,409, the total for the three months ending June 30 being over 300,000, or a daily average of 4000 pieces.
