SERIOUS COLLISION.
MOTOR CYCLIST KILLED
Per Press Association. DARGAVILLE, May 23
A serious collision occurred- between a motor . cycle. , and a horsedrawn waggon at Ruawai last plight, resulting in the death at le Ivopuru Hospital early' this morning .of the rider of the motor cy-cle, Robert Baft', a Public ■'♦Works foreman. Raff, wlio was accompanied ;by Harry Wallace, who rode in the sidecar, was . proceeding along, .the- road when the collision took place. Baft sustained a compound fracture of 'the leg and other terrible injuries. Wallace escaped with a few bruises; while L. Amb'ury, the driver of the Waggon, escaped entirely.
