COUNTRIES ' RELATIONS.
(British Official Wireless.) Received May 23. 1.30 p.m. 'RUGBY, May. 22. The negotiations between the King of Hedjaz and Nejd and tho British mission under Sir Gilbert Clayton, which began at Jeddah a fortnight ago with the object of settling certain outstanding matters . between Nejd, Irak and Trans-Jordania have been suspended owing to tho approach of tho pilgrimage, hut they will be resumed at tho earliest opportunity. Satisfactory progress was made on several of the questions under discussion, and tho negotiation.-; were marked by a mutual, conciliatory desire to reach a settlement ensuring good relations between tlio three countries concerned.
