BUSINESS FIRST.
LORD APSLEY TO RETIRE
LONDON, April 22. The Weekly Dispatch says Lord Apsley, Conservative M.P. for Southampton since 1922, will retire from Parliament at the next elections owing to pressure of business.
Lord Apsley. who is a director of the Morning Post, in 1926 came to Australia in the guise of a migrant to investigate the conditions under which migrants worked. He then joined the Empire Press Union delegation which visited the Commonwealth.
