BEACH ROADS.
FOXTON AND TANGIMOANA
“I havo much pleasure in stating that wo have received word from the Main Highways Board that they have declared the road from the Rongotea siding to Tangimoana township and the road from tho Foxton Borough boundarv to the Foxton beach as subsidiary main highways.” reported the chairman, Cr. W. E. Barber, at yesterday’s meeting of the Manawatu County Council. “Tho matter required a little pressure, but it has now been arranged satisfactorily and we will in future receive the current subsidy on these highways,” the chairman added. Members of the council expressed their approval at the report of the council.
